Archaeologist graduated from the National School of Anthropology and History. Intern in the Master in Mesoamerican Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM. He is a researcher at the Center for Mayan Studies of the Institute of Philological Research, UNAM.

His fields of research are: sites of the Lower Preclassic on the coast of Chiapas, history of Olmec archeology, Mayan epigraphy and Tabasco ethnography.
